WARRANTY:
Choice Ammunition, Corp. warrants our ammunition for a period of one year, to be free of defects in workmanship and materials. If we find the ammunition to be defective for either of these reasons, we will replace the ammunition free of charge including shipping.
We carefully evaluate any warranty claim on a case by case basis. Please contact us at 406-961-6942 to report any issue and receive a specific RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number for your case and return. .30-30 Winchester 175 Grain Hornady Sub-X~ The .30-30 Winchester/.30 Winchester Center Fire (7.8×51mmR) cartridge was first marketed in early 1895 for the Winchester Model 1894 lever-action rifle. The .30-30 (thirty-thirty), as it is most commonly known, was the USA’s first small-bore, sporting rifle cartridge designed for smokeless powder. The .30-30 is considered to be the “entry-class” for modern big-game hunting cartridges, and it is common to define the characteristics of cartridges with similar ballistics as being in “.30-30 class” when describing their trajectory. While it is very effective on deer-sized and black bear-sized game, most commercial loadings are limited in effective range to about 200 yd (183 m) for that purpose, except when using ballistic-tip ammunition.
Choice Ammunition Subsonic Winchester 30-30 Ammo in the Hornady 175 Grain Sub-X Subsonic Flex Tip; This subsonic 30-30 ammo offers a muzzle velocity of 1075 feet per second. The patented Hornady Flex Tip Expanding (FTX) bullet features an interlocking design that keeps the core of the bullet and the jacket together creating a deeper penetrating, more humane kill. Not only that, they offer controlled expansion, enhanced accuracy and the delivery of flatter trajectories. Featuring a soft polymer flex tip, it’s tough enough to stand up to a jacketed bullet, but soft enough so it won’t dent the primer of the round in front of it or cause accidental firing in a lever gun. Developed with long grooves, this subsonic bullet includes gilding metal jacket with the addition of a bullet’s flat profile and the patented Flex Tip insert within its hollow-point cavity to help it expand reliably at low velocities.
