Our ammunition is loaded to SAAMI specifications unless otherwise noted. Any firearm modified from its original, factory condition, may not match the performance achieved through our extensive testing at our facilities. This includes primer detonation, accuracy, and stated velocities.
WARRANTY:
Choice Ammunition, Corp. warrants our ammunition for a period of one year, to be free of defects in workmanship and materials. If we find the ammunition to be defective for either of these reasons, we will replace the ammunition free of charge including shipping.
We carefully evaluate any warranty claim on a case by case basis. Please contact us at 406-961-6942 to report any issue and receive a specific RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number for your case and return. .22 Creedmoor 77 grain Sierra Tipped MatchKing– The .22 Creedmoor is a necked down version of the 6.5 Creedmoor to a .224 bullet. It was pioneered by Derrick Ratliff in 2023.
The .22 Creedmoor has exceptional speed, is super flat shooting and has very minimal wind drift at extended distances. The caliber is an excellent choice for small to mid-sized game animals, and perhaps one of the most lethal predator rounds available with performances exceeding even the 22-250 and 220 Swift. This caliber is a pleasure to shoot, with minimal recoil. With velocities exceeding 3,300 fps with an 80 grain bullet, the round delivers nearly 1,000 foot pounds of energy still at 500 yards, making some consider it to be an adequate deer rifle as well.
Choice Ammunition has introduced the .22 Creedmoor round with 77 grain Sierra TMK with the same 100% hand-loading techniques as our other calibers. Our loading techniques and extremely tight tolerances are only matched by passionate hand-loaders in their own loading rooms. Our consistencies box to box and lot to lot, are created by continuous testing at the range- adjusting varied powder and brass lot formulas to match exact velocities and points of impact as the last time we loaded this caliber. Exact seating depths and our proprietary load formulas produce a round of ammunition you can count on for accuracy and dependability each and every time- and at that critical moment in the field when it all comes down to the shot!
The Bullet:
Sierra has enhanced a segment of the MatchKing line by adding the acetal resin tip, thus crowning the Tipped MatchKing (TMK) bullet line. The major advantage of adding a tip to the bullet is the reduction of drag, producing a more favorable ballistic coefficient. Another benefit is reliable feeding in magazine fed firearms. The 77 grain Tipped MatchKing (TMK) allows seating to an OAL that permits cartridges to be loaded into M16/AR15 magazines.
While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications. Although MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their design will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz or Varminter counterparts.
